Uncovering the Secret Menu from Starbucks (Part 4)

This is now the 4th installment of this series. We’ve been inundated with plenty more secret Starbucks drinks that plenty of readers and friends have insisted that we feature as well.

We had to relent since there’s always that distinct possibility that many of you might discover yet another favorite Starbucks drink from these new entries. While you can always get your regular freshly brewed coffee for $2.24, maybe you should be a bit more creative.

So, let’s get right on it!

1.Grasshopper Frappuccino

This actually tastes a bit like mint chocolate chip ice cream.

  • Start with an order of Mocha Frappuccino.
  • Add 1 or 2 pumps of peppermint syrup. You can also add the peppermint syrup according to the cup size (Tall=1 pump, Grande=2. Venti=3).
  • Put in some java chips as well.

2.Fruity Pebbles Frappuccino

This is like a version of classic breakfast cereal, so you may want to get this in the morning.

  • Start with the Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino.
  • Put in some pumps of classic syrup (Tall= ½ pump, Grande=1 pump, Venti=1½ pumps).
  • Put in the same amount of raspberry syrup (Tall= ½ pump, Grande=1 pump, Venti=1½ pumps).
  • Add a bit more vanilla syrup (Tall=2 pumps, Grande=2½. Venti=3).

Some people like adding a bit of orange mango juice. Others say that the classic syrup doesn’t have to be included. But it’s all up to you, and of course, you can always try all these versions to see which one you like.

3.Cotton Candy Frappuccino

This is great for kids, especially when the parents are worried about the caffeine content. This is basically caffeine-free. Kids love it because it’s like sipping cotton candy each time.

  • Start with the Vanilla Bean Frappuccino.
  • Put in some pumps of raspberry syrup (Tall=1 pump, Grande=1½. Venti=2).

4.Cookies and Cream (AKA Oreo Frappuccino)

This comes with 2 names, and there are actually several versions of this. The simplest, however, is also the most popular version, and here’s how you make it:

  • Start with the Double Chocolate Chip Frappuccino.
  • But instead of regular mocha, it should be blended with white mocha syrup. Or you can just add the white mocha syrup.
  • If you want, top it with either chocolate or regular whipped cream.

5.Butterbeer Frappuccino

Yes, this comes straight from the Harry Potter series, or at least, what some people imagine what butterbeer tastes like if Starbucks offered it. Now imagine no more:

  • Start with the Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino, though insist on using whole milk to get the ideal consistency.
  • Add 3 pumps of caramel syrup.
  • Add 3 pumps of toffee-nut syrup.
  • If you want, top it with some whipped cream and caramel drizzle.

Now, you’re ready for Hogwarts, evil dark lords, and snippy Potions teachers.

6.Apple Pie Frappuccino

It really does taste like apple pie, and it brings back memories of summer. It doesn’t start with a Starbucks menu item, though.

  • Ask for a mix of half a cup of apple juice with half a cup of milk.
  • Put in 2 pumps of caramel syrup.
  • Put in 2 pumps of cinnamon syrup
  • Add some ice and blend.

7.Cake Batter Frappuccino

It’s also known as the Birthday Cake Frappuccino, but you can enjoy this any day of the year (without actually getting older).

  • Start with an order of Vanilla Bean Crème Frappuccino.
  • Put in 1 pump of hazelnut syrup. You may opt for 1½ pumps for the Grande, or 2 pumps for the Venti.
  • Now ask very nicely if they can blend a Starbucks Birthday Cake Pop into the blender. Not everyone will do this, but it doesn’t hurt to ask. If they refuse, don’t be a Karen—don’t insist on seeing the manager!

8.Cap’n Crunch Frappuccino

This is another breakfast-like drink, as it’s very much like its cereal counterpart.

  • Get a Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino.
  • Add some pumps of hazelnut syrup (Tall=½ pump, Grande=1, Venti=1½).
  • Add some pumps of toffee syrup (Tall=1 pump, Grande=1½. Venti=2).
  • Add some pumps of caramel syrup (Tall=½ pump, Grande=1, Venti=1½).
  • Put in some java chips.

9.Skittles Frappuccino

  • Start with the Strawberries & Crème Frappuccino, but without the classic syrup.
  • Instead, put in raspberry syrup (Tall=½ pump, Grande=1, Venti=1½).
  • Put in some vanilla syrup too (Tall=2 pumps, Grande=3. Venti=4).
