Oh yes. You need to watch for labels even when you shop for fruits. Some grocery stores know how to manipulate with old fruits.
Luckily you have me to warn you about this. Very often, the labels of the fruit tell the secret about the fruit. This will make you read them every time from now on.
If you ever wondered what are the labels doing there, this post will tell you the secret behind it.
- Take a fruit. Look for a 4-digit number. If you can notice and it starts with 3 or 4, it tells you that the fruit has been produced with an intensive agriculture procedure. It dates from the second half of the 20th century. It also points out that artificial fertilizers have been used.
- If that number is made of 5 digits and it starts with the number 8, this means the fruit is genetically modified. Avoid by any cause.
- If the number is made of 5 digits, but now starts with the number 9, the fruit is traditionally grown. It means the fruit is free of pesticides and manure. It’s originally grown in a traditional way. This should be your choice, always!
There’s your daily class of labels. If you need more information feel free to contact me. I would be happy to help you!
