Shopify Dropshipping Ecommerce Courses

Shopify is an e-commerce platform through which we can do the dropshipping business and use paid advertising (Facebook ads or Google Product Listing Ads) to drive traffic. There are various courses available to teach you the basics of doing dropshipping business with Shopify.

The most important factor for your success in a drop shipping business is the paid ads platform. The paid platform will enable you to begin creating traffic immediately. However, this can turn out to be quite expensive cutting into your profit margins. Since when you sell physical products you’re already doing business with only around 50% profit margin because of the cost of goods sold (the product still has to be purchased from an overseas supplier). eCom Success Academy by Adrian Morrison

They teach you how to build an eCom site from start to finish, which plugins you need, how to track sales and conversions with Facebook. The course also includes Facebook ads course which covers everything you need to run ads on Facebook. The lessons are up to date and include all the latest changes. The model taught by Adrian Morrison is to find a product which is already successful on Facebook and either duplicating it or coming up with something better.

Smart Google Traffic by Ezra Firestone

They offer the course which teaches the use of Google’s e-commerce paid advertising which most of the other available courses don’t teach. Google’s ads are quite different from Facebook ads. Google ads target the keywords that your potential customers are searching. This way it generates the traffic of people who are already interested in buying from you. The Facebook ads, on the other hand, targets around a niche and tries to interrupt and convince someone to buy your product who isn’t actually looking for it.

eCom Elites by Franklin Hatchett

His idea is to pick those who are passionate about your product rather than focusing on a niche which is too broad. Pick the hyper-niche products and sell them on YouTube.

Franklin did well with selling animal pendants. He targeted people who had liked owl pages on Facebook. He drew the conclusion that people who liked owl pages are passionate people, and he was right.

However, you can’t make money for the long term by following his model because eventually, your audience will exhaust.

ClickFunnels Training Program by Justin Cener

He showed a different approach. He emphasizes on first creating a funnel for the product testing with Facebook ads using Clickfunnels. eCommerce business involves a lot of trial & error in order to see what works best. A lot of upfront labor is required with no guarantee of generating an ROI. Sometimes you create the whole Shopify store and realize later that your product will not convert well on Facebook.

eCom Hacks by Jared Goetz

The course covers everything from finding products to sell, finding the supplier, setting up  Shopify store & how to use Facebook ads effectively. His view of Facebook ads is quite different from that of Franklin Hatchett. He focuses on broad targeting but using cheaper Ad objectives like optimizing for page likes instead of conversions. His idea lowers the cost per click. He also emphasizes on using retargeting ads.

Jared has the experience of trials & tribulations of doing dropshipping way before it became famous. The hoverboard and Mark Cuban reached out to him to invest in his company.  Unfortunately, things didn’t work out on that deal but since then Jared has made the second fastest growing Shopify store, first being Kylie Jenner.

Conclusion

Dropshipping is an excellent way of doing business where you don’t need to maintain any kind of stock physically. You just need to reach your potential customer over the internet. The suppliers you’ve linked with will ship the products directly to the customer. So in order to start the business, you’ll need to go through the basics i.e., the supply chain, deciding on the product to sell, finding and working with the suppliers, attracting the potential customers and converting them into the leads etc.

The courses mentioned above are the best among many different available courses. These have been created by well-known eCom coaches who have got real-life experience doing the business themselves for several years. Article contributed by Hari babu from TechAriz!
