Mulled Manhattan
This timeless blend of grapes and grains was shared with us by Christopher Tunnah, the general manager and beverage director at Bedford Post in Bedford, N.Y.Thanks to the subtle nutmeg hints in Angostura bitters and the orange bitters infused with clove-studded orange, it boasts a festive red hue and a delightful Dickensian flavor. It's so inviting that going back for another round is almost irresistible.
Instructions
- Begin by muddling the orange slice in the base of a mixing glass. Afterward, fill the glass with ice and pour in the bourbon, Cointreau, and bitters, giving it a thorough stir. Finish by topping it with grape juice, transferring the mixture into a glass, and garnishing it with an orange twist and a cherry.
