Cyn-Cyn
I've grown somewhat weary of Negronis. While it's undeniably a great drink, and I happily surrender to its allure when it's expertly prepared, its overexposure in recent times has made it a tad monotonous. That's why I'm embracing the Cyn Cyn, its rarer and lighter cocktail relative, with open arms.Cynar, an intriguing and underrated amaro crafted from artichokes, steps in for Campari in this delightful concoction. It's a favored aperitivo of the author, Elizabeth Minchilli, and this elegant and uncomplicated recipe is a tribute to her expertise. —Rosie Schaap
Instructions
- Pour the liquids into a rock glass and give it a squeeze of Meyer lemon. Fill the glass with as much ice as it can hold. If desired, you can garnish it with a twist of lemon peel.
