Every morning hides a different story. People don’t like to get up from their warm beds. I mean who would want to do that during this ice-cold weather?
No, really. Bed is good, but nothing good happens there after your husband decides to get up.
If you know what I mean.
Doing your morning ritual is always the same. Washing your face, teeth, making a hot tea or smoothie, breakfast and the daily activities can start.
Sometimes you want to do something else. I know many people who quit their healthy habits because they got bored.
Yes, seriously. They got tired of doing the same thing every morning. That’s when they decided to try something else.
The healthy breakfast was replaced with Nutella pancakes or some other unhealthy breakfast.
That’s because they didn’t want to bring variety to their morning rituals.
This is how I got to these “shots”. No, there is no alcohol in them.
Did you know that your body is very acidic in the morning?
While you are getting a good night’s sleep, your body cleanses itself through the night.
That’s the time when our body relaxes from food and the organs try to get their soul together.
It does a great job preparing itself for the next day. Your body needs at least 7-8 hours of sleep to prepare for the next tasks. That’s how important sleeping is.
Even when nature says you feel fresh, your body struggles to keep up. That’s why you are feeling tired sometimes.
The natural solution to this is making life easier in the morning. I know you don’t want to drink anything right away.
Don’t worry. I’m not talking about large amounts. They are called shots, remember?
I have the recipes below. There are 5 of them. One for each day from Monday to Friday.
For Saturday and Sunday, you can go with some delicious smoothie.
Ginger, ACV, and Lemon
The magical three ingredients that will boost up your metabolism. They are really effective when combined.
While Ginger does a great job relieving nausea, indigestion, constipation and provides natural energy, the lemon and ACV just help and strengthen the whole process.
- Combine the juice of one lemon with 1 tsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar and ½ inch ginger in a blender
- Add little bit of water if you want to
- Blend until you get a nice and smooth mixture
Lemon, Cayenne, and ACV
The combination that will make you feel amazing.
I’ve already mentioned that the Cayenne is your favorite metabolism booster. The lemon brings the alkalizing and cleansing properties. The ACV makes this shot stronger.
- Combine the juice of 1 lemon with 1 tiny pinch of cayenne and 1 tsp. ACV in a small cup.
- Add 2 ounces of water
- Add crushed ice (if you want) and blend
Spirulina, Plant-Powered Green Smoothie
Green smoothies can replace your healthy breakfast. However, this is a shot you can drink right before breakfast.
You will enjoy the amazing benefits of spirulina. The superfood that is rich in multivitamins.

- Blend 2 cups spinach with ¼ cup frozen berries
- Add 1 slice of ginger, spirulina and little stevia

Lean, Green Juice
Green juices are probably the best natural way to alkalize your body. Wait, I’m not talking about those juices you can buy in your local stores. They are full with sugar.
I’m talking about a natural homemade remedy. It improves digestion, heals achy muscles and inflammation.
Keep it natural and follow this recipe.
- 1 head romaine
- 1 lemon
- ½ inch ginger
- ½ cucumber
Apple Cider Vinegar
Oh yeah! ACV will alkalize you for the whole day. Drinking ACV straight from the bottle could cause problems. That’s why you need to mix it with water.
Now, the benefits of ACV are huge. It’s one of nature’s most useful probiotic-rich and alkaline beverages.
To make an easy shot:
- Mix 1 tsp. of Apple Cider Vinegar with 2-4 ounces of water
