I was shopping for groceries yesterday. I usually do it on Sunday, but we were all busy re-decorating our house.
My husband got out from work earlier this morning, so I needed to use the public transportation to get to the best grocery stores in town.
After half an hour, I was ready to pay for the groceries. There was a long line in front of me to the cashier.
While I was going through the list, making sure I didn’t forget anything, an older lady approached me.
She started talking about the old times. She told me that she is retired now, but she doesn’t like living in this era.
Before, everyone was happy. Now, all people are too busy staring at their mobile phones – she said
She wasn’t far from the truth. When I took a peek at the line, 9 out of 10 people were scrolling down their social network profiles.
I laughed at the truth.
But we can’t talk about that because smartphones, tablets, and even smartwatches are already deep into our lives.
Going back home I couldn’t stop thinking about what that grannie told me. I made lunch and sat down to do see what the Internet world has to say about that.
And what I found really made me laugh and cry AT THE SAME TIME!
