I have terrible news for the People who love the “Sargento Foods” cheese products.
They were forced to recall their cheese products from the markets. There is a big chance these products have listeria.
Here is the official claim on twitter by the company:
— SargentoCheese (@SargentoCheese) February 11, 2017
If you have bought a stack of these cheeses and you ate some, there are some symptoms you should look out for.
Some of them include:
- Muscle aches
- Different Gastrointestinal issues
*Note: infecting with listeria could be really dangerous for pregnant women and elder people.
The company already released a statement. It says that they are closely monitoring the situation with the listeria outbreak.
They are open for any consultation and solving the potential problem.
Numerous varieties of their cheeses were recalled including:
- Off The Block Shredded Fine Cut Cheddar Jack Cheese
- Off The Block Shredded Fine Cut Colby-Jack Cheese
- Chef Blends Shredded Taco Cheese
- Sliced Pepper Jack Cheese
- Sliced Colby-Jack Cheese
The company can’t confirm yet whether there are some clients who suffered the consequences of this outbreak. That’s why I’m sharing you this warning with you.
They are advising the customers to check if any items purchased are contaminated by checking the UPC code here.
Here is the video report:
Don’t forget to share this with all of your friends. It’s a warning and we need to stay connected.
