She has just become the first woman to be named Chief Operating Officer of Starbucks.

Not only is Brewer the first woman to ever hold this position, but she is also the first African American to take on the role.

“I am so honored to have the pleasure of working with the Starbucks leadership team to realize our highest of aspirations for the company and I look forward to working closely with the astute and talented leaders across the enterprise,” Brewer said in a statement.

As of 2016, she is listed as the 57th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes.
