Pop diva Rihanna came to slay on the red carpet of her film premiere on Monday!
Alongside co-star Cara Delevingne, the ‘Work’ singer was in London for the European premiere of her film Valerian And The City Of A Thousand Planets.
Rihanna turned heads in an eye-popping scarlet gown as her long hair cascaded down her back.
The 29-year-old rocked a bardot Giambattista Valli number, that featured a long train that billowed behind her.
The fashionista accessorized with dazzling Choppard ruby earrings and carried a red Jimmy Choo clutch.
She matched this with vibrant scarlet lip.
Rihanna plays dancing, shape-shifting alien Bubble in the Luc Besson’s sci-fi epic.
She stars alongside pal Cara and Oscar – nominated actor Clive Owen.
Speaking on the blue carpet, the Umbrella singer told an excited crowd: ‘I’m very excited to be here, I love London.’
‘When Luc Besson calls, you just go, you just show up. I don’t care what it is, you just say: “Yes sir, I’m coming”.’
Rihanna – who previously made her cinematic debut in 2012’s Battleship – also paid tribute to her director for being patient with her on set and ‘knowing I was new to this’.
Speaking of her character, who represents just one of the female heroes in the movie, she said: ‘I think of myself as a shape-shifter in terms of my music and my fashion, so I fell in love with her.
‘It’s a visually thrilling film. I was blown away, I didn’t know what to expect. I enjoyed every moment of it.’
The film’s star Cara Delevingne followed in Rihanna’s footsteps as she made a style statement in a custom Burberry black tailored suit for the premiere.
Despite the glamorous premiere, the science fiction epic is already being labelled a ‘box office bomb.’
It placed fifth in the box office chart, taking just over $17 million against a staggering $180m budget.
