No surprises here – but Rihanna absolutely slayed Vogue Arabia’s November cover!
On Oct. 27, the singer took to Instagram to announce her role as the magazine’s next cover model – unveiling a high fashion, Egyptian inspired look that pays homage to the great Queen Nefertiti.
Apparently, Vogue Arabia was just as excited to reveal the big news.10 days before Rihanna made her big announcement, the magazine teased its latest issue on social media in a post that read: “Thousands of years apart, two iconic women will finally meet in the pages of Vogue Arabia”.

Per usual, Rihanna – adorned in a colorful headdress inspired by Nefertiti’s iconic crown – resembles nothing less than royalty throughout the glamorous spread. But for fans, the dazzling tribute is more than fitting for the global superstar – who has always adored the timeless Egyptian queen.
Ri Ri even has a tattoo of the ancient goddess etched across her left rib cage!
Ultimately, Vogue Arabia’s latest cover scheme looks to merge together two gorgeous, powerful icons from vastly different eras.
“Not only is [Rihanna] one of the most successful pop icons ever, shaping the entertainment industry with her powerful tunes and unique sense of style, she is also an advocate for diversity,” editor-in-chief, Manuel Arnaut, said in his “editors letter”.
