A family is desperately searching for their missing daughter Ashanti Billie.
19-year-old Billie was last seen entering J.E.B. Little Creek early Monday September 18th.
Billie just moved to the area within the last month and works at Blimpie’s Subs on J.E.B. Little Creek.
Shortly after, her car was seen leaving the base. It is unclear who was driving it.
Special Agent in Charge Martin Culbreth of FBI Norfolk says that they are offering a $10,000 reward for information that will lead to finding Billie.
On Saturday, her Mini Cooper was found abandoned in the 9500 block of Lakeside Drive near Ocean View in Norfolk.
Investigators say Ashanti’s cell phone was also discovered. It was found in a dumpster on a residential block.
The FBI has taken the lead on the investigation, but the NCIS, Virginia Beach police, and Norfolk police are all working together on the investigation.
Billie’s parents also met with Congressman Scott Taylor to enlist his help.
“We just ask if anyone saw something, say something, please,” said Brandy Billie, Ashanti’s mother.
Ashanti’s parents live in Maryland and are both veterans.
Meltony Billie, Ashanti’s father, said he and his wife have faith that she will return home safely, “God is able, God is willing.”
