The brave mom on the picture is Jennifer Moats. She was involved with a man who became her husband for seven years.
She wasn’t too happy about it. The relationship was a complete mess as they were fighting all the time.
It was a toxic relationship from the beginning,” the 29-year-old from Fort Riley, Kansas, tells Us Weekly. “We never connected, and so we fought constantly.
She has three kids Jeremy who is three years old, Reid four, and Elijah 6. It was the love for the kids and food that made her survive this loveless relationship.
Unfortunately, the second love got her deep into a bigger problem. She gained lots of weight stopping at 236 pounds.
I would eat my emotions. I would think I was constantly hungry, but I was just lonely. My husband would never sit down and have a conversation with me.
It was October 2015 when Jennifer had enough of this life. She wanted a change.
She didn’t have the energy to be happy with her three sons. Her doctors started giving her warning signs that what she does could give her diabetes and other dangerous diseases.
She says that the first two weeks were the hardest days she survived. However, the egg whites and vegetables kept her going. Seeing the weight going down came as a nice dose of motivation.
After the constant fight, she knew it would worth it at the end.
The whole process took her 11 months. She lost 119 pounds and looks like this:
She is now a regular in the gym. Five times a day and she are not stopping!
When I started I would just go and do the elliptical for about 15 minutes. Now I run four miles a day on the treadmill in, like, 37 and a half minutes!
Way the go!
